At CP3MAF, we believe that martial arts training is not just about physical fitness, but also about mental and emotional growth. Our philosophy is based on the principles of respect, self-discipline, and perseverance. We strive to create a positive and supportive environment where students can learn and grow both on and off the mat.
Since my earliest memories, martial arts have consistently inspired me. Whether it was through the captivating lens of kung fu movies or my admiration for martial arts icons like Bruce Lee, the Ninja Turtles, and Chuck Norris, this world has always held a special placearts.
However, it was not until I reached the age of 19 that martial arts became accessible to me. Prior to that, it seemed like an unattainable goal. Yet, when I finally immersed myself in its teachings, it proved to be a transformative experience. Not only did it rescue me from my own internal struggles, but it also shielded me from the dangers that life had thrown my way. Even today, as my children pursue their own wrestling endeavors, martial arts serves as a powerful bond between us.
Drawing upon my accumulated experience and knowledge, my aspiration is to positively impact the lives of youth, young adults, and adults who are eager to embark on a journey of self-discovery. I aim to guide them towards realizing their true potential and fostering a supportive environment for their growth. Adversity, I believe, is a crucible that tests one's character, and it is through these trials that we learn, adapt, and ultimately blossom.
In 2004, I had my inaugural fight. It was an event my friend had brought me to, and the motive behind my decision to step into the ring was a subject of debate. Whether it was fueled by my friend's desire to witness my skills or my own curiosity to test my mettle, that moment marked the beginning of my passionate journey into the world of martial arts. Since then, I have professionally competed in arenas of MMA, kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
With my accumulated experiences and knowledge, I aspire to make a positive and empowering impact on the lives of young individuals, adolescents, and adults alike. I aim to guide them on a path of self-discovery, helping them realize their true potential and identity. It is during times of adversity that one's character is truly tested, and it is through these trials that we learn, adapt, and ultimately grow.
Our Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) program at CP3 Martial Arts and Fitness offers a comprehensive training experience that combines various martial arts disciplines into one dynamic and exciting program. MMA is a full-contact combat sport that allows participants to utilize techniques from different martial arts styles, including striking, grappling, and submissions.
In our MMA program, participants will learn a wide range of skills and techniques from disciplines such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, and more. The program is designed to provide a well-rounded training experience that develops not only physical strength and conditioning but also mental agility, discipline, and strategic thinking.
During MMA training sessions, participants will engage in a variety of drills, sparring, and conditioning exercises to develop their striking, grappling, and defensive abilities. They will learn how to effectively strike with punches, kicks, elbows, and knees, as well as how to defend against strikes and takedowns.
In addition to striking, participants will also learn ground fighting techniques, including submissions, joint locks, and escapes. The focus on grappling and submissions allows participants to effectively control opponents and finish fights on the ground.
